Water and Sewer
The City of Murray has received funds in the amount of $2,433,000 to replace the undersized cement water mains in the majority of town:
$300,000 CDBG grant
$1,034,000 USDA grant
$1,099,000 USDA loan (40 year term, 2.25%)
The water mains will be moved from the middle of the streets to the ditches. During the construction process the ditches the water lines will be going in will be regraded to improve storm water flow and keep it off the streets.
Randy was hired by the City of Murray on November 4, 2013. On July 7, 2014 Randy was promoted to Superintendent of Water and Sewer on a full time basis.
